Cedric Hartman’s swing arm lamps and marble topped occasional tables harmoniously blend form and function. His work is identifiable by his attentiveness to the architecture of each fixture. Each piece is meticulously crafted using the highest quality materials to produce small editions of his works. The subtlety of his lighting makes for incredible versatility. In traditional settings, they’re a jewel-like accessory; in contemporary spaces, understated and architectural.
A native Nebraskan, Cedric Hartman still works everyday at his studio workshop in Omaha and has enjoyed widespread acclaim. Several examples of his custom-made lighting fixtures are housed in New York’s Museum of Modern Art permanent design collection. Also, the New York Times and Veranda have featured Hartman’s work declaring it as some of the most beautiful, hand-crafted fixtures offered in the lighting industry.
